My dear friend Alice White lost her battle with breast cancer Thursday. There is no way my words could do justice to what a remarkable and beautiful woman she was. I will only say I was truly blessed to have known her.

john, this is such a wonderful picture of her. it speaks volumes of who she was. we were all blessed to know her.
John...I had no idea! Noone even called to tell me at Longwood...i am heartbroken
